"Dreams are dreams," my uncle said.
"Thoughts you think of whilst in bed.
Crazy creations from your mind,
You never know what you'll find."
"But if dreams are dreams," I said to him.
"Then the chances of living them are very slim."
"Ha, that," he told me, "is where you are wrong.
Because it is with the living that my dreams belong.
One night I dreamt being here with you.
Together as a family, just us two.
You see, my child, you have to believe
Believe that the impossible can be received
Put your heart and mind to it, bit by bit,
Put your heart and mind to it, bit by bit,
Your dreams will come true, you'll see to it."
I smiled at him with love in my eyes
For the man who taught me how to defy
The Impossible.
